In this shot we made reference to 80's iconography with the rollers, the mirror and the costume. The light is used effectively in this shot to make it look more realistic and professional. Throughout the video we tried to show as many 80's references as possible to create a link back to the song.
the song by Calvin Harris relates to 80's culture and music so we represented this through the records. The Human League being the main one shown which were a famous band that peeked in the 80's.
In this next shot we can
see a 3 framed shot of a dancing scene. The outfits used were key to create the right effect, in this shot we can see that bright tights and floral designs represent an old fashion. We used intense lighting to create a shadow on the white wall. The white wall then contrasts against the bright and vibrant costumes used.

Here is a 9 framed shot of our main character, he has now changed from his previous costume so give more contrast againt the colours in the background. this shot was also created using the green screen. We have seen this method of various frames in one shot in many popular music videos.

In this shot we made reference to the Example Video 'Kickstarts'. The lighting in this video is used to highlight the feet. We tried to vary the style of shoe and background by choosing various floors. The pink leg warmers in one of the 4 framed shots also Carrie on the consistency of the 80's references throughout our video.

Here is a close up of an old fashioned Nintendo games control from the 80's. Fitting with our 80's genre.
